Hello again! It's Open Tab - a series of stories in which we ask some of our favorite Arc members to bring us along to their favorite places on the internet and let us in on the secrets behind their recent work and passion projects.

Today's guest, Jason Chin, is the type of person you want to become every time the "New Year, New Me" season rolls around. He is a content creator, the founder of Easlo, and the most organized person we know (and we aren't saying this just because of this post). But even if your new year goal isn't to get organized, he's got a Notion template that will give you a jump start, no matter what your new endeavor is - learning a new language, investing, or getting your grades up. Jason's favorite colors are black and white but over the past couple of years, he's built a vibrant community of more than one million productivity lovers through his content online.

Jason's organization skills aren't the only reason behind his success though. There are a few handy tools that power it behind the scenes, so get your note-taking app of choice out and start writing them down:

  1. Loom is an Open Tab regular that makes it easy to make screen recordings perfect for both teaching your colleague a new process and walking your friend though your 2024 glow up plan.

  2. If either of them have follow-up questions (like what exactly is "sleepmaxxing"?), Cron is a great calendar tool that makes scheduling a walk in the park.

  3. Gumroad is a great tool that allows online creators, like Jason, to sell anything from a Notion template to meditation guides.

  4. Typefully is another helpful tool for content creators. Powered by AI, it's a smart environment for writing, scheduling and managing posts for LinkedIn and X (formally known as the #1 app on your Screen Time).

  5. Jason's go-to website builder is Framer. Making a website with Framer is as easy as typing "a portfolio website of the most 10x engineer on earth" or "the best browser to ever exist."

  6. If you are looking for a simple way to create online forms, check out Tally. It makes form creation as easy as typing in a Notion doc.

  7. Speaking of Notion - let's address the elephant in the room. It's obviously one of Jason's favorite apps and the powerhouse behind his business.

  8. Circle is a community platform with a robust set of features that has helped Jason really get to know the massive community that he's built online.

  9. Senja is a handy tool if you are looking to collect testimonials - maybe about your business or maybe just about what a lovely person you are.

  10. And finally, another Open Tab classic - Figma. You might be using it daily, but have you ever checked out their template library?

Did you get all of that? No pressure - you can always get back to all of Jason's recs or share them with a friend using this Arc Folder.
